Industry Standards
HFPA believes it is important to monitor and regulate the home textiles industry to ensure that only the highest quality products are manufactured and marked.
HFPA published a standard in 2013 for the makers of quality residential bath rugs to help them ensure that their customers receive the highest quality products. A standard for residential terry bath towels was published in 2011 and a standard for residential bed sheets was published in 2010.
The standards are available for HFPA Members free of charge.
