HFPA Committees

HFPA’s committees are where our members’ expertise, ideas, and relationships come to life. Through committee service, members help shape the direction of the association, contribute to meaningful programs and initiatives, and collaborate with industry peers who share a commitment to strengthening the home fashion products community.

Volunteering on an HFPA committee is one of the most valuable benefits of membership. It offers opportunities to build relationships, expand your professional network, develop leadership skills, and play an active role in advancing the industry—while giving back to the association that supports it.

Once a company joins HFPA, everyone within the organization becomes part of the HFPA community. This means employees at all levels can engage, contribute their expertise, and volunteer on committees—creating opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, cross-company collaboration, and deeper connection to the industry.

If you’re interested in getting involved, we invite you to join HFPA and become part of the collective work that moves our industry forward. Members with interest in participating in a committee can contact Holly Koenig.

American Down & Feather Council (Chair: Brandon Palmer)

The ADFC works to uphold and enhance the quality of down and feather products while advancing the shared interests of the industry. The committee provides current, reliable information to consumers and industry professionals and oversees industry rules and guidelines through its Label Compliance Program. Additional fees apply for participation in ADFC.

The Hub Committee (Chair: Jody Folino)

The Hub Committee leads HFPA’s educational efforts, developing timely and relevant programming for virtual webinars and learning experiences. The committee focuses on current industry trends, leadership and professional development, public affairs, and other topics that inform, connect, and support HFPA members and the broader home fashion products community.

The Advocacy Committee (Chair: Sam Cooper)

The Advocacy Committee monitors legislative and regulatory activity affecting the home fashion products industry and helps ensure HFPA’s voice is heard. The committee stays abreast of developments in Washington, DC, and represents the industry through actions such as member surveys, position statements, and coordinated outreach, including letter-writing and engagement with policymakers.

The Legacy Committee (Chair: Brian Delp)

The Legacy Committee supports the next generation of home fashion professionals through the work of the HFPA Foundation. The committee advances the Foundation’s fundraising efforts and academic partnerships with the Fashion Institute of Technology and Thomas Jefferson University, supports the annual Fall NY Market Gala, and furthers the Foundation’s mission of providing scholarships to students pursuing careers in home textiles.
