Foundation & Scholarships
The HFPA Foundation was founded in 1996 to help foster the future of the industry. The Foundation provides scholarships to students pursuing a career in the home fashion products industry. Currently, the Foundation awards scholarships to students enrolled in surface design or home product marketing courses of study at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and Thomas Jefferson University. Nearly 250 students have received scholarships since its inception.

Funding for the scholarships comes from the industry, individual support, the annual September market fundraising event, and the Home Fashion Products Association.
