May 8, 2023, Philadelphia, PA – The Home Fashions Products Association (HFPA) has announced the six winners of its scholarship program in partnership with Thomas Jefferson University. The program awards scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled in the Fashion Merchandising & Management, Fashion Design & Textile Design programs at Jefferson.
The scholarship recipients were chosen after an interview process where they displayed their work and discussed their status in the program. The six winners are equally divided into three categories – two students in Fashion Merchandising & Management, two in Fashion Design, and two in Textile Design.
Scott Goldstein, CEO of S. Lichtenberg & Co., Inc., and Jim Geise, Sr. Account Executive, presented the scholarships to the six deserving students on April 11th, 2023. “We were impressed by the quality of work and professionalism displayed by all six scholarship recipients,” said Scott Goldstein. “We believe that supporting the education of the next generation of industry professionals is essential to the continued growth and success of our industry.”
The HFPA scholarship program provides financial support to students pursuing a career in the home fashions industry. In collaboration with Thomas Jefferson University, the program aims to encourage and develop young talent, ensuring the future of the industry.
