Home Fashion Products Association (HFPA) Foundation Donates to Fashion Institute of Technology and Thomas Jefferson University

December, 2023— HFPA Foundation contributed $15,000 to the Fashion & Textiles Futures Center of Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) and $25,000 to the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), split between the Textile/Surface Design Department and the Home Products Development Department. A portion of the donations went directly to individual student scholarships and some funds were set aside to support department initiatives to service all the students within the home programs.

The HFPA Foundation is funded throughout the year by generous donations from HFPA members and other corporate donors, as well as from sponsorships and proceeds directly related to the NYC Fall Market Awards Gala.

The HFPA Foundation of the Home Fashion Products Association was founded in 1996 to help foster the future of the industry. The Foundation provides scholarships to students pursuing a career in the home products industry. Over 250 students have benefited since its inception.
